Spire Climbing Center is proud to offer week long summer youth camps for kids age 5 – 16 of all abilities.  Our summer camps are a great way for campers to learn the essentials of climbing or to take their skills to the next level.  Campers will build strength, confidence, focus, trust and teamwork through our fun and challenging activities.

Climbing FUNdamentals Camp – Ages 5 to 14

Spire’s Climbing FUNdamentals Camp is offered to both new and returning campers of all abilities.  Our experienced instructors teach campers essential climbing skills including knot-tying, belaying, rappelling, climbing protocol and climbing technique.  Camps include an hour of yoga each week and an indoor challenge course.  To top the week off, an outdoor climbing field trip will be offered Fridays for participants 10 years and older.  Instructor ratio 1:5.

Camp Dates:  June 15 - 19

June 29 - July 3

July 6 - 10 

July 20 - 24  

July 27 - 31

August 10 - 14 

August 17 - 21

Time:  Monday thru Friday 9am - 12pm

Friday outdoor field trip 9am - 3pm (Optional)

Price:  $135 non-member  $110 member

Outdoor field trip an additional $65

Includes snacks and a t-shirt

Advanced Climbing Camp – Ages 12 - 16

Spire’s Advanced Climbing Camp is for climbers interested in taking their skills to the next level.  Climbers will develop advanced climbing techniques, discipline, and focus while engaging in exciting games and challenges.  An outdoor climbing field trip will be offered Fridays for those interested in testing their new skills on the rock.   Instructor ratio 1:5.

Camp Dates:  June 22 - 26 

July 13 - 17

August 3 - 7

Time:  Monday thru Friday 9am - 12pm                          

Friday outdoor field trip 9am - 3pm (Optional)

Price:  $135 non-member  $110 member

Outdoor field trip an additional $65

Participants under 18 must have a Spire Climbing Center release signed by parent or legal guardian.
