Now in its 15th year, FULL GRAVITY DAY, is happening November 14th, 2015.  FGD is an event that brings the Bozeman climbing community together, alongside hosting a ABS competition for youth competitors from around the region. Sign up for this awesome event for competition, community, and camaraderie. 

Full Gravity Day is also the largest fundraiser of the year for Bozeman based non-profit TOUCH THE SKY, whose mission is to get youth outdoors through climbing. Touch The Sky provides rock climbing programs for kids which educate, inspire, and empower. Touch The Sky provides service to low-income and at-risk youth organizations. They also provide reduced fee assistance and scholarship to those who are less fortunate. Since 1996, Touch The Sky has provided climbing opportunities to nearly 1000 kids from all walks of life! Touch The Sky also hosts the BOZEMAN CLIMBING TEAM.

Waiver: Dont forget your waiver, chances are it has expired. Waivers expire every year. If you are under 18 get one signed by your parent and bring it with you. You can't climb without it, period! Get it here.

Price: $40 online pre registration or at Spire. $45 day of competition.
     -Online booking closes at midnight on Nov 7th.

     **Price includes pizza, beverage and raffle.

 
Competition Format:  Redpoint style with final scores being a total sum of the competitors top 6 problems.  A 25 point bonus is awarded for flashes.  Top 5 open competitors will proceed to the onsight finals for additional points.  Finals points will be added to competitors redpoint score for an all around total score.Final standings are determined by the total score. The cash purse will be distributed to the top 3 final standings in men’s and women’s open category.

-Gravity category is as many problems as you can do!  One point each.

     1:15 - 5pm...................................Heat 2 Competition - Adult Masters, Open, Intermediate and Beginner (Heat 2 is Non-ABS)
     2pm.............................................Awards (Heat 1)
     5pm.............................................Suprise Activity/Pizza arrives for Heat 2 competitors
     5pm - 7:30pm..............................Silent auction to benefit Touch the Sky
     6:30 - 7:30pm..............................Finals (Heat 2 competitors only)
     8pm.............................................Awards (Heat 2) Raffle and Party
 
Spectators: Come watch the best climbers from around the region duke it out for top honors in our new facility!  Spectators are treated to a show, a baked good or tasty malt beverage (for those of age), and a great evening spent with the most psyched crowd in Bozeman.  Spectator fee of $10 for non-members, $5 for members, or free for competitors, with the action kicking off at 6:30.  Get here early for our surprise game, or check out the silent auction for Touch the Sky!  Come witness the fitness, we promise you won't be disappointed!

***All Competitors must attend the pre-comp meeting which will be held 15 minutes prior to the start of each heat.

Full Gravity Day 14 is a American Bouldering Series Season 15 sanctioned event and is presented by the Bozeman Climbing Team, DJAJ Audio/Visual Solutions and Spire Climbing Center. All proceeds go to benefit Touch the Sky 501(c)3.
