New for November, we will be offering 15 classes a week, with 3 of those classes meeting before or at 8am so you can unlock your inner yogi before work or school! With the addition of Friday & Saturday yoga sessions, Spire now offers classes 6 days a week. Yoga is a fantastic way to increase flexibility, gain core strength, work opposing muscle groups, hone balance, and harden the mind for those adventurous leads. In short, it is a great cross training activity for climbers of all levels and almost certainly will help your climbing. Our classes are taught by experienced yoga instructors, with a focus on poses that target climbing specific movement and antagonist muscle groups. Our purpose-built yoga studio is sound insulated from the hubbub of the climbing/fitness area and holds up to 20 participants. Loaner Gaiam yoga mats are available, as are yoga blocks for those who need them. Classes are on a first come, first served basis, and are free to anyone who has paid to get into the facility.
