About Philip PA-S, M.S., C.S.C.S.
Philip Ferrara is a passionate coach, medical student, and physiologist with over a decade of climbing experience and more than 6 years of coaching experience. He is an NSCA-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) with a master’s degree in exercise physiology. His master’s thesis focused on finger strength and fatigue in sport rock climbers. His work has been presented at conferences around the world, including the International Rock Climbing Research Association's biennial meeting. Philip current lives in Billings, MT attending Rocky Mountain College for Physician’s Assistant studies. He hopes to work in sports medicines or the emergency department once he graduates.
